Dear friends,
This fall, we invite you into the quiet embrace of the Tuscan countryside for a week of restoration, connection, and intentional living. At Casavecchia—an intimate villa surrounded by rolling hills, olive groves, and the soft rhythms of rural life—you’ll step into a pace that nourishes both body and spirit.
These seven days are designed to gently recalibrate your system.
Mornings begin slowly, with warm light spilling across the hills, coffee and tea waiting, and movement practices that ground you in your breath. Each day unfolds with experiences that support whole‑body well‑being: a mindful bike ride through vineyards, a hike along ancient paths, nourishing meals prepared with seasonal ingredients, and hands‑on workshops that reconnect you to the pleasure of creating something with your own hands.
Health here is not a checklist—it’s a way of being.
You’ll learn to cook simple, beautiful meals using local produce, discovering how food becomes medicine when it’s prepared with intention. You’ll explore the land at a pace that invites presence rather than urgency. And you’ll have spacious time to rest, wander, journal, or simply sit in stillness with someone you love.
Connection is at the heart of this retreat.
Shared meals, unhurried conversations, and experiences designed for partnership create space for deeper understanding and closeness. Whether you’re biking side by side, savoring a truffle dinner, or soaking in the warmth of the spa, you’ll find yourselves reconnecting in ways that daily life rarely allows.
Casavecchia offers room to breathe.
Evenings are slow and grounding—gathering around the table, sharing stories, or stepping outside to watch the sky fade into night. There is no pressure to perform or fill every moment. Instead, you’re invited to experience what it feels like when life is lived with care, attention, and enough space to truly arrive.
This retreat is not an escape from real life.
It’s a return to a way of living that honors your health, your relationships, and your inner landscape. A reminder that nourishment can be simple, connection can be effortless, and time can be savored.
We look forward to welcoming you to Casavecchia— to days shaped by movement and meaning, to evenings warmed by good food and conversation, and to a shared experience that lingers long after you return home.
We hope you’ll join us at the table.

Jessica Kelly
Retreat Host
Jessica Kelly is the founder of The Kitchen Gardens, an online educational platform helping families reclaim their health through scratch cooking, land stewardship, and intentional living—rooted in faith, simplicity, and the wisdom of the old ways.
A devoted follower of Jesus, homeschool mama, and experienced nurse & health educator, Jessica believes true wellness begins at home. Not in fads or fear, but around the kitchen table—through nourishing food, shared work, and skills that strengthen both body and soul.
Her teaching centers on deep scratch cooking, traditional baking, and using the homestead as a living classroom where children learn responsibility, resilience, and reverence for the land. Through everyday rhythms—baking bread, tending animals, growing food—Jessica equips families to live healthier, more connected lives while passing down practical skills that endure.
Through The Kitchen Gardens, Jessica invites families to slow down, return to what is time-tested, and rediscover the joy, dignity, and healing found in doing life the old way—together.
