Lemon Basil Burrata Crostinis

This is a fun and interesting spin-off that has basil, lemon, garlic, and burreta cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 balls burreta cheese

  • zest of 1 lemon

  • Juice of 1-2 lemons

  • 1 clove garlic, sliced in half and then minced to rub on toast

  • 1/3 cup loosely packed fresh basil, chopped

  • 2 T olive oil

Instructions

  • Slice baguette or loaf and drizzle with olive oil. Cut the garlic clove in half and rub it against the top of the sliced bread. Slice baguette or loaf and drizzle with olive oil. Cut the garlic clove in half and rub it against the top of the sliced bread. Prepare Burrata by slicing Burrata into small strips inside a serving dish. In a separate bowl add lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, 1 clove garlic minced, basil, salt and pepper. Pour over prepared Burrata. Garnish with more basil. Serve over toasted baguette.
