Dear friends,

This May, we invite you and your daughter into the rich landscapes of Costa Rica for a week devoted to restoration, presence, and shared connection. Nourish: A Mother–Daughter Wellness Retreat in Costa Rica is a thoughtfully curated experience designed to slow the pace of life and deepen the bond between generations through nourishment, movement, and time in nature.

Our journey unfolds across two distinct regions of Costa Rica, each offering its own rhythm and medicine.

We begin along the Pacific coast in Playa Potrero, where ocean air, warm light, and gentle waves create a soft and grounding arrival. Here, mornings open slowly with yoga, breathwork, and nourishing breakfasts prepared with care. Days are balanced and spacious—snorkeling in clear waters, walking barefoot along the shore, horseback riding at sunset, and gathering for workshops that explore gut health, emotional wellness, and the foundations of sustainable vitality.

This coastal portion is an invitation to land in your body.

Through hands-on cooking classes, farmers market visits, and shared meals inspired by Blue Zone principles, mothers and daughters learn side by side. Food becomes a shared language—one that carries care, tradition, and presence from one generation to the next.

Midway through the week, we journey inland, leaving the coast behind as we travel into the lush rainforest near Río Celeste. The landscape shifts, and so does the energy. Surrounded by waterfalls, cacao trees, and deep green stillness, this portion of the retreat invites reflection and reverence.

In the rainforest, days are shaped by awe and simplicity—hiking to the vibrant blue waters of Río Celeste, walking hanging bridges high above the canopy, visiting cacao, coffee, pineapple, and bee farms, and savoring farm-to-table meals that reflect the abundance of the land. Afternoons offer time for rest, journaling, spa experiences, or quiet moments in hammocks beneath the trees.

Connection remains at the heart of Nourish.

Evenings across both locations are intentionally slow and meaningful—shared dinners, reflection circles, and a closing mother–daughter gratitude ceremony beneath the stars. These moments create space for deeper understanding, gentle healing, and memories that endure long after the journey ends.

This is not simply a retreat—it is a shared chapter in your story.

A week to nourish the body, honor the land, and strengthen the bond between mother and daughter through experiences that feel both grounding and expansive.

We would be honored to welcome you to Costa Rica—
from the shores of Playa Potrero to the rainforest magic of Río Celeste—
to a journey of nourishment you will carry with you for years to come.

Her teaching centers on deep scratch cooking, traditional baking, and using the homestead as a living classroom where children learn responsibility, resilience, and reverence for the land. Through everyday rhythms—baking bread, tending animals, growing food—Jessica equips families to live healthier, more connected lives while passing down practical skills that endure.

Through The Kitchen Gardens, Jessica invites families to slow down, return to what is time-tested, and rediscover the joy, dignity, and healing found in doing life the old way—together.
