Dear friends,

This fall, we invite you into the rolling hills of Tuscany for a week devoted to learning, living, and savoring the rhythms that make Italy one of the healthiest places in the world. Our Women’s Health Retreat in Tuscany is a thoughtfully curated, women-only experience designed to explore what makes the Italian food system so unique — and how we can bring those principles of slow living, real food, and joyful movement back home.

Our home for the week is the breathtaking Relais La Chiusa, a private Tuscan villa tucked among olive groves and vineyards, just a scenic drive from Rome. From the moment you step through its gates, life begins to soften. Golden light spills across the countryside, cypress trees line the hills, and the pace of your body gently adjusts to something slower and more intentional.

Each day blends education with embodiment.

Mornings begin with movement — sunrise yoga overlooking the hills, guided walks through the countryside, or strength sessions designed to energize and restore. After nourishing breakfasts at the villa, we step into the heart of Italian culture: visiting local markets, strolling medieval towns, learning directly from locals about sourcing food seasonally and sustainably.

Food is at the center of our experience.

You’ll roll up your sleeves for hands-on pasta-making classes, wood-fired pizza nights, farm-to-table cooking sessions using ingredients we select together at open-air markets. We’ll harvest and taste fresh olive oil, visit a traditional dairy farm to see cheese crafted from start to finish, and even venture into the forest for a truffle hunting experience guided by local experts and their dogs.

Alongside these rich culinary traditions, we will explore the deeper foundations of vibrant health. Through workshops on gut health and fermentation, garden-to-table herbal practices, and mindfulness and spiritual wellness sessions, you’ll gain practical tools for nourishing your body long after the retreat ends.

There is space, too, for restoration.

Afternoons invite you to journal beneath olive trees, sip espresso on the terrace, explore nearby Renaissance villages, or soak in the legendary thermal waters of Chianciano — pools fed by ancient springs that have restored travelers for centuries.

Evenings are slow and sacred: shared dinners at long farmhouse tables, laughter echoing through stone courtyards, conversations that stretch late into the night. Community forms naturally here — among women who value health, beauty, tradition, and connection.

This is more than a trip to Italy.

It is an immersion into a way of living that honors real food, meaningful movement, and deep presence. A week to rediscover that health is not built in extremes, but in daily rituals — in olive oil pressed from local groves, bread made by hand, walks through ancient towns, and meals shared without hurry.

We would be honored to welcome you to Tuscany in Fall 2026 —
to gather, to learn, to restore, and to carry a piece of Italy’s wisdom home with you.

A devoted follower of Jesus, homeschool mama, and experienced nurse & health educator, Jessica believes true wellness begins at home. Not in fads or fear, but around the kitchen table—through nourishing food, shared work, and skills that strengthen both body and soul.

Her teaching centers on deep scratch cooking, traditional baking, and using the homestead as a living classroom where children learn responsibility, resilience, and reverence for the land. Through everyday rhythms—baking bread, tending animals, growing food—Jessica equips families to live healthier, more connected lives while passing down practical skills that endure.

Through The Kitchen Gardens, Jessica invites families to slow down, return to what is time-tested, and rediscover the joy, dignity, and healing found in doing life the old way—together.
